Literature on Planning

Our Planning Literature and Knowledge Sharing Platform, developed within the Institute of Urban Studies and Spatial Planning, is dedicated to collecting, curating, and making accessible a wide range of literature related to urban planning and design. The platform’s central mission is to democratize knowledge—ensuring that key texts, research, reports, and policy documents in the field of planning are visible, freely accessible, and easy to navigate for students, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and anyone with an interest in shaping better urban futures. The platform hosts a growing library of materials, including academic publications, master and doctoral theses, planning guidelines, historical and contemporary policy documents, handbooks, conference proceedings, and research reports from both local and international contexts.
By making this body of knowledge openly available, the platform aims to promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and critical reflection. Moreover, the platform is interactive and participatory. Users are encouraged to contribute additional resources, propose new themes, and take part in thematic reading circles and knowledge exchange events hosted by the Institute. In doing so, the platform becomes not only a digital repository, but also a living community of knowledge—a shared space where literature becomes a catalyst for informed dialogue, progressive planning, and inclusive urban development.
