Mission
The mission of our Lab is to provide a quality scientific basis and professional solutions for integrated and sustainable water management in order to increase overall prosperity, preserve human health and improve the environment.
Vision
The vision of our Lab is an integrated management of water resources in line with the directives and standards of the European Union, as a basis for the advancement of the human community and the provision of a healthy environment.
The Lab is now a leader in the field of water and in addition to scientific research works, it also deals with a wide range of activities related to water resources management, utilization and treatment, irrigation sector, utilization of water potential for energy, environmental protection and many other areas related to water use and utilization. The department aims to continue to represent a strong link between science and profession, theory and practice.
Strategy
The strategy of our Lab is to work continuously in research and development, lifelong learning, staff training and improvement of its position in order to be able to adequately respond to the requirements in increase for scientific and professional support, as well as for activities to improve the state of water resources in the country, so that any development in the water sector is in line with regional directives and standards of EU countries and Wider.
It’s strategic goal is to support all stakeholders in a scientific and professional way for an integrated and sustainable development of water resources to meet the following requirements:
- Drinking water supply;
- Water for food production;
- Water for irrigation of agricultural lands;
- Water for industry;
- Water for sports and recreation;
