UBT Urban Talks is an open and dynamic platform dedicated to monthly talks, discussions, and interviews that bring together leading voices, emerging thinkers, and engaged citizens around the most pressing topics shaping our built and natural environments.
The platform focuses on a diverse but interconnected range of themes, including sustainability and smart growth, resource protection and environmental management, urban ecology and the development of environmentally friendly cities, architectural and urban heritage, spatial justice, urban identity, and the cultural narratives embedded in our cities and landscapes. Each session is designed to stimulate dialogue across disciplines—bridging planning, architecture, environmental science, engineering, and social studies—to foster holistic approaches to urban and regional challenges.
UBT Talks offers an inclusive space where academics, professionals, policymakers, activists, and students can share insights, exchange best practices, and engage in forward-looking debates. Sessions are held in formats ranging from keynote lectures and panel discussions to informal interviews, live Q&A sessions, and thematic roundtables. Topics are grounded in both global developments and local experiences, with a particular emphasis on the Balkan region and Kosovo’s evolving urban and ecological context.
